:: ABOUT SPEED THE LIGHT

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the “essential transportation and creative communication” equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word, and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the Great Commission.

Speed the Light (STL) is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. Since its beginning, STL has raised over $220 million for missionary equipment around the world.

::NORTH DAKOTA SPEED THE LIGHT

Every year, students, youth ministries, leaders and churches across our state give generously to STL.  Through that generosity, many missionaries from ND have the resources they need to share the truth and hope of Jesus Christ throughout our world.

This year, North Dakota Youth Leaders have launched the ONEMOVEMENT Challenge for students in our state.  Through this initiative, students, leaders and churches are challenged to not just PRAY for a move of God - but to actually BE the movement by living a life of sacrifice, faith and Kingdom-priorities.

ONEMOVEMENT goal cards have been distributed throughout the state and are also available for download on the website.  As students or adults track their giving, they can send in their card at specified goal amounts and received a ONEMOVEMENT t-shirt.

Also included in the ONEMOVEMENT promo pack are project pictures and details, various powerpoint slides, and the challenge cards.
